Club i Team Davao Goes to Surigao Del Sure and as our jump-off point was at Shell COA, and by 3:00 AM sharp, riders began to roll in, headlights piercing the still-dark Davao streets. I and the Missus together with everyone, were groggy but excited, ready for a long but rewarding ride. After a quick regroup, last-minute reminders, hand signal refreshers, and a short prayer for safety, the engines roared to life.

It was still dark when we left Davao City, our engines humming and headlights cutting through the early morning fog. Everyone was excited, the ride was long but promising, and the road to Bislig via Trento was calling. Walay atrasay napasubo naman. This was the kind of trip that reminded us why we ride: freedom, friendship, and finding peace on the open road.
Team Davao Goes to Cuevas
Pag-abot namo sa Crossing Cuevas, gutom na kaayo mi pero the rain had already started pouring. We had no choice but to pull over for breakfast, a hot meal under a small roadside karinderya as the rain hammered down on our bikes. Some of us laughed, others checked their rain gear, but all of us knew, this is what makes a ride unforgettable.
Team Davao Goes to Tinuy-an Falls
As the rain softened, we pushed through toward our first destination: Tinuy-an Falls. Entrance fee was only ₱50, but what awaited us was priceless. The thunder of the cascading water, mist rising from the rocks, and lush greenery, it was like nature was welcoming us despite the storm. We took our time, snapped photos, and let the moment sink in. Others just sat in silence, appreciating nature’s power and peace.
Team Davao Goes to Enchanted River
From there, we moved forward to the “I Love Bislig” monument. Picture ra kadali, quick stopover lang for memories. Then off we rode to Hinatuan, home of the Enchanted River, one of Mindanao’s hidden gems. At first glance, the Enchanted River looked calm, mura ra siyag still water, like a painting. But the moment we dove in, we felt it: the current was strong, surprisingly strong. It pulled at you gently, reminding you that beneath the surface was mystery and power. Some of us floated quietly, others swam out a little farther, but everyone agreed the place lived up to its name.
Team Davao Bonds With Team SanLiaBar
At 3:00 pm, from Hinatuan, we proceeded to San Agustin, Surigao Del Sur, where we had a sleepover hosted by Team SanLiaBar(SAN Agustin, LIanga, BARobo), a brother team from Club-i Philippines organization who welcomed us like family. Shout Team SanLiaBar.Kapoy ang lawas pero busog ang kasingkasing. That night, we shared stories, a hearty dinner, and, of course, a few drinks to cap off the night. Laughter echoed, glasses clinked, and the brotherhood felt stronger than ever nga dili gyud mapalit.
Team Davao Goes to Britania Group of Islands
The next morning, after a simple breakfast, we set out for Britania Group of Islands. There, we boarded 2 Motorized Bangka, ang isa para daw sa mga naay pares, ang isa para sa mga sad boy, ay single DAW. The sea was calm, the breeze refreshing, and the view, picture perfect. We explored islets, jumped into clear waters, and soaked in the final hours of our ride.
To top it off, we indulged in local delicacies, swaki (sea urchin) and kinhason (shellfish). Fresh, raw, straight from the sea. Some of us tried swaki for the first time, “lami man diay ni oy!” , and it was the perfect final flavor of the trip.

Team Davao Comes Back Home
By afternoon, it was time to head back. We reached Davao City around 8pm, wet roads, tired arms, but happy hearts.
This ride wasn’t just about the places we saw, it was about the rain we rode through, the rivers we swam in, and the brothers we shared it all with. It wasn’t just another ride. It was a journey full of memories, ulan, islands/islets, waterfalls, enchanted rivers, and shared stories that would last a lifetime. Dili lang ni trip, kini, experience nga dili namo malimtan. And as we always say after getting home from our club rides, Touch Down!
